Hello, How are you guys?!?
Well this week has been . . . great and also very boring. My companion and I go to the mission office almost everyday because he is training one of the secretaries. So I find myself reading a lot of Ensigns. :) However, it has been fun. We leave the office and go work in our area from six to nine thirty. So that's the good part. So, I am in my new area. And it is a such a great area. There are about six member families that live in my street. They love to help us to. The first night I got to the area, one the of the sisters who lives near us gave me food, because she knew I didnt have time to buy food yet. That was so nice of her. Also my next door neighbors are members and one of the girls is going to study at BYU next month. She is scared because she thinks the United States hates colored people... still. So I gave her my facebook password and she is going to become friends with my friends just so she knows we are not racist!!! (so this is for the bloggers who are at BYU-if a random girl from Brazil adds you on facebook it's my next door neighbor... who needs friends to help her learn English.) She is going to study English at BYU. I don't know how well she speaks English?
So we have no investigators, or we didn't have any when we showed up. The missionaries who are in this area haven't left yet- so me and my companion don't really have an area we are just helping the missionaries here, ya know? So we couldn't use the area book to see who we could teach because the old missionaries are still here teaching them. So all of our investigators are from our own sweat! We have just lived in the streets teaching people. It's great!
