Merry Christmas Charly Brown!!!! Hark the herold angels sing . . . it's a bummer they don't have this song in Portuguese or I would be laughing in church and singing like Charly Brown!!!! I am just Christmased out right now! And now with my new Christmas CD's I am just going nuts! Christmas is just better when you put the lord first! This yr. it's different because I know there won't be presents and cookies and stuff- but I love it!
Anyway transfers have come and gone and as usual - I stayed! My entire district got transfered!!!! Crazy, I was the only one who stayed! That's right, Elder Wright got transfered! It was so sad! I am training Elder Pereira now. Yeah, training again. He is way different than Elder Wright! Elder Wright was so easy, and teachable! Elder Pereira, in this week alone, I have had to help him adjust to the rough lifestyle of the mission! Its been and adventure!!!!!!!! He is an elder who is dramatic and has cried a lot. He told me at the beginning that he wanted to go home! He is doing a lot better now! He told me he will stay and just work! I almost killed him though! So one day I called one of our investigators- I asked when we could visit him and he told me - "today, in about twenty min." The problem was we were an hour away from his house. I said perfect, hung up the phone and BAM it was time for a march!!! I said let's go and we were off! It was really hot - like 105 and I was just so excited to get there and teach him. I didn't think I was walking very fast but I looked behind me and my comp was jogging to keep up. We got there and I was so excited! Turned around and yelled we did it! He walked past me and said- "remind me to write in my journal tonight about my companion who isn't human!" He walked into a bar of all places to ask for water! He had to sit down because he almost threw up. I felt really bad because I had worn him into the ground! But it was great!
