YA!!!!USA USA USA USA WON THE GOLD!!! First off I will explain my week. Wed. before the game, everyone kept talking about the final in women's soccer- I just simply stated back to them- "you guys beat us 4-0 last year in the world cup, and now we're out for your blood." So thurs I went on splits with my first companion (ctm) Elder Windley. And I walked into the store and saw it was in overtime 0-0 . . . and I almost started crying because I was missing it. Anyway, we left and taught a guy and he told me they had won. Wahoo! But now this week everyone just tells me it was a miracle that we won and the shot was just a pittly poop shot. Was it? Who made the goal? Does anyone remember?
Anyway, let's start off with my division with Elder Windley. We called it a sleepover - ha ha. We are really great friends, so we were both excited to work together and to talk. And boy . . . did we talk. We were obedient though - our mission pres. says we have to lay down at 10:30 - if you need to talk to your companion you can. So we laid down at 10:30 'cause we are obedient. And we just started talking about the mtc together, and then it went to our first months in the mission, and great moments in the mission. And well I looked at my watch and started laughing 'cause it was 1:00 am. Thats why we called it a sleepover, 'cause it reminded me of scout camp or something. Anyway, we got up the next day, and we weren´t even tired. I was actually really excited to work because we just motivated each other the night before with all our missionary stories. Our work that day was really good- however we didn,t find a whole lot of new people.
