"On sunday evening I was sitting in my Sunday night

devotional and they kept playing clips of Pres. Hinkley. And I kept thinking to myself...It's going to be weird without him. The whole church is going to be sad when he passes. Those thoughts continued all night."

Monday morning the missionaries were told that Pres. Hinkley had passed away.

Jared loves his mission experience so far and of course is still JARED. Here's a little something he shared with us last week.

"I have some very funny stories from this week. I was trying to stack chairs after a practice and Elder Mackraken was still teaching so he was leaning toward the investigator. I walked behind him with a chair. The chair slipped and fell... the leg of the chair went down his pants! And he made a little yelp in the middle of his teaching (practice lesson with an instructor). Ya know how when you're leaning forward there's a little opening between your pants and your back? I started laughing and ran off... a different elder had to help him get the chair out of his pants. hahaha"
